This paper is interesting. It describes the fish comunities off the western Mediterranean Sea and how they assemblage according the different bathymetric strata. In my view this research is useful both to the scientific comunity and the society, as it provides knowledge for a better management of marine resources. Every fish assemblage and habitat may need different management measures for a proper use and conservation. This paper describes the content of every ecosystem, providing also maps on where those fish ecosystem are located.
