This fishery is carried out under the Community licenses, sometimes shared between different fishing grounds, in the territory waters of Mauritania and Guinea-Bissau. Researchers and technicians from the Instituto Español de Oceanografía in Tenerife work in monitoring of these fisheries and analyzing samples from the landings.
