Mariano García-Rodríguez, born in Madrid (Spain) in 1953, is graduate and Ph.D. (Dr. Biological Sciences) from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), Spain. Expert in Biology of Marine Resources, Population Dynamics and Assessment of exploited resources. Coordinating and participating in 25 Oceanographic and Fisheries Surveys, 30 Research Projects, both at Nationals and International, with more than 50 publications of different nature. Member of the Scientific, Technical and Economical Committee for Fisheries of the European Commission (STECF) from November 2010 to March 2016.
