ROSARIO DOMÍNGUEZ PETIT

PhD in Biology (2007). Doctoral thesis: “Study on Reproductive Potential of Merluccius merluccius in the Galician Shelf.” I worked at the IIM (CSIC) in the Group of Fisheries Ecology from 2002 to 2016 and I led it between 2012 and 2015. Now I work as Senior Researcher at the O.C of Vigo (IEO). I'm focused on the fish life-history, reproductive ecology and growth, reproductive potential, sclerochronology and adaptive changes of exploited populations to environmental drivers, including fishing pressure. I’m the person in charge of bluewhiting data collection within the framework of the EU-DCMAP in Spain. I am also interested in fish spatial behavior, Dynamic Energy Budget Models, fish populations’ resilience and assessment of data-poor stocks and small scale fisheries.
